Elevate Health Appoints New Interim Executive Director

By Elevate Health

The Elevate Health Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Lauren Fulton as Interim Executive Director of Elevate Health, effective Thursday, May 5, 2022.

Lauren, who currently serves as Executive Director for OnePierce Community Resiliency Fund, the investment arm of Elevate Health, will continue in that role in addition to leading Elevate Health, a move that also received approval from the OnePierce Board of Directors.

"I look forward to working with the Board and staff during this transition,” said Lauren, “as we build on the great work of our care coordination programs and prepare for new Medicaid policies."

Joe LeRoy, Elevate Health’s Board Chair, said board members of both organizations have extreme confidence in Lauren’s leadership skills.

“Lauren is a proven leader, collaborator, and innovator,” said LeRoy, adding that she “is deeply respected by the Elevate Health team and Pierce County community.”

Alanna Hein, who has led Elevate Health as Interim ED since December 2021 and concludes her tenure on May 4, 2022, agreed that Lauren is an excellent choice.

“I’m very happy to know that Elevate Health will now be in the capable hands of Lauren Fulton,” Alanna said. “Lauren knows our community and has been deeply connected to Elevate’s work via her impressive leadership at OnePierce. I wish the staff, Board, and community partners at Elevate Health all the best."

On behalf of the Board of Directors, LeRoy said he is grateful to Alanna for her leadership and welcomes Lauren as Interim Executive Director of Elevate Health.

“We are confident that Lauren will build on the great work that has been put into place by Alanna and the Elevate Health team,” said Joe, and will “continue to move Elevate Health into the future.”
