HOW IT WORKS
Applicants must complete an Expression of Interest form to begin a conversation with One Pierce regarding potential funding.

Community Loans
One Pierce’s community loans blend funding sources from financial institutions and healthcare allies. Loans support local organizations as they expand programs and services, improve facilities, or access working capital. Just as grants stay in the community, repaid loans are redeployed back into it.
For organizations with a committed funding source not yet disbursed, we may offer bridge loans to fill the gap between funding award and actual payment.
PARTNER SPOTLIGHT: Emergency Food Network
Emergency Food Network's new food storage warehouse has helped expand the impact of EFN's programs and bolster their efforts to reduce food insecurity in Pierce County. Working with the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation, Elevate Health was able to provide EFN with a low-barrier bridge loan through our Community Resilience Fund. This loan, which EFN has already paid back in full, helped cover much of the up-front construction costs of this new facility.
