Tell Us a Little About Yourself
I was born in Seattle, WA into a very large and ethnically mixed family. Being the oldest of four to my mom, and the middle child of six to my dad, things were often challenging and unpredictable during my childhood years. After I graduated from high school, I dedicated all my time and energy into work, trying to figure out not only who I was, but what my purpose was in this world. A few years into working 3+ jobs, I decided I needed to make a drastic change in my life and relocated to the east coast, in an attempt to find myself. During my five years in New York, I learned not only so much about myself, but the importance of having a support system by way of family, friends, and/or community. In 2020 I decided to move back to Washington and start a family of my own, not quite knowing where I would end up, and what kind of jobs that I was going to pursue, I just knew that I would be happiest in a position where I could help others. Today I am happy with where I am at personally and professionally and am excited for the rest of my journey.

What Kind of Work Do You Do at Elevate Health?
As the Assistant CBCC Program Manager I support the day-to-day operations of our team, work closely with our community partners, monitor our programs for quality assurance and see where improvements are needed, analyze CBCC data, and provide technical support for our care coordination system.
What Do You Like About Working for Elevate Health?
I love that my position here at EH allows me to help people in my community without being a direct service provider. I am lucky enough to be in a position that allows me to think outside of the box when it comes to helping people in need, and I do not have to always follow the ‘rules’ of big healthcare organizations that answer to the insurance companies and private payors. Instead, I am a part of an organization that pushes back and fights for the underserved populations and communities in need.
