Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that we occupy the traditional homelands of the Puyallup Tribe and other Coast Salish people.

We recognize that the land on which we stand is stolen and that the Puyallup and other native tribes have lived on and stewarded these lands since the beginning of time. We further acknowledge the forced removal of these native communities and their continued fight today to live on their ancestral lands.

We recognize that this land acknowledgment is but one small step toward true allyship. Therefore, we commit to uplifting and respecting the voices of Native communities. We pledge to protect the land, the waters, the plants, the animals, and the natural resources that sustain us. We vow to honor and commemorate the experiences and histories of the indigenous peoples of this land and beyond.
