by Elevate Health    December 13, 2020

More primary care practices are using telemedicine to address the challenges of rising costs and provider shortages, especially in rural areas. And, as primary care providers are called upon to manage more patients with mental health and substance abuse issues, many busy practices are considering telepsychiatry as an option for integrating behavioral health.

“Key Considerations for Implementing Telepsychiatry Services”– a new tool from the Practice Transformation Support Hub – can help practices considering telepsychiatry make an informed decision about what is right for their practice, and their unique implementation needs. The six-page guide, available on the Hub Resource Portal, can be downloaded here .
