Mohamed is a world citizen, having lived in six different countries and speaks five different languages. His travels give him a unique perspective on the impact of culture on medical beliefs and practices.
For the past five years, Mohamed has worked at various community health centers as a part of the preventive care and health promotion team. He also worked with the Health Homes Lead organization that serves clients in King County. Mohamed is the Health Homes Program Manager at Elevate Health. He manages a program that is designed to ensure patients and families with complex care needs have the supports to better manage their own healthcare.
Outside of work, Mohamed volunteers with several non-profit organizations that are integrating immigrant and refugee health professionals into our healthcare delivery system.
