New Journeys: Pierce County’s First Episode Psychosis Team

New Journeys from Comprehensive Life Resources offers coordinated specialty care to individuals who are experiencing their first episodes of psychosis. It’s a shared decision-making treatment model between specialists and youth and young adults experiencing a first-episode psychosis. Learn more about how the shared decision making process allows for clinicians and clients to work together to set goals and develop an action plan.

The program accepts individuals ages 15-40 years old regardless of insurance status who have been experiencing psychotic symptoms for up to two years. The program’s exclusionary criteria prevents it from accepting individuals who are experiencing psychosis due to substance intoxication/withdrawal, medical conditions, mood disorders, or autism spectrum disorders.
